Central Louisiana Community Foundation (CLCF) is proud to announce that Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response® (STAR®) has established an agency fund to strengthen and sustain its mission of serving survivors of sexual trauma and building safer communities through education, advocacy, and prevention.

Every survivor’s journey is different, but no one should have to navigate healing alone. STAR provides support and services to youth and adult survivors of sexual trauma while working alongside organizations, schools, and community partners to strengthen prevention efforts and ensure responsible responses to sexual violence.
Agency funds are created by nonprofit organizations to provide an annual source of income that sustains their mission for years to come. By establishing a fund with CLCF, STAR joins a professionally managed investment portfolio and benefits from the Foundation’s experienced administration of endowment services, helping ensure long-term financial stability for its programs and services.
Through direct services, education, and advocacy, STAR has helped countless individuals find support, healing, and hope while promoting a community-wide commitment to preventing sexual violence. This new agency fund will help the organization expand its impact, strengthen its resources, and continue serving survivors for generations to come.
