Community Impact Challenge
The Central Louisiana Community Impact Challenge was created in 2017, to help people find, learn about and contribute to causes that they care about. The Community Impact Challenge enables nonprofits to share their stories and engage the community through a unique giving platform.
The Community Impact Challenge is a two week fundraising challenge held during late March/early April. It is designed to raise unrestricted dollars and awareness for the nonprofits in the central Louisiana community. CLCF sets up an online giving page for each nonprofit participating in the challenge. Donations will be processed through these pages. The pages are available year round for organizations to continue to accept gifts. Anyone can donate to their favorite nonprofits.
To increase the value of every donation CLCF created two levels of awards.
Participating nonprofits will be eligible for the following 2018 awards each worth $2500:
- The organization with most individual donations (multiple donations from same individual only counted once)
- The organization with the most overall money raised
Nonprofits that created an Impact Fund with money raised in the 2017 Community Impact Challenge will be eligible for a $7500 award
- The organization that raises the highest percent increase based on their Impact Fund Balance at the end of the 2017 challenge (April 4, 2017).
Nonprofit organizations wishing to participate in the challenge must be members of the Foundation, and be domiciled in the twelve parish area that CLCF serves.
