Central Louisiana Community Foundation (CLCF) is proud to announce that Starfish Ministries has established an agency fund to support its mission of serving vulnerable children, youth, and families through Christ-centered programs that provide safety, healing, and hope, one life at a time.

Agency funds are created by nonprofit organizations to provide an annual source of income that sustains their mission for years to come. By placing their endowment with CLCF, Starfish Ministries joins a large, professionally managed investment portfolio and benefits from the Foundation’s experienced administration of endowment services.

“Partnering with CLCF allows us to secure the future of our ministry and continue serving children who need to know they are seen, valued, and loved,” said Jess Lachney, President and Founder of Starfish Ministries. “This fund represents long-term hope, an investment in the next generation of children and families across Central Louisiana.”

What began as one emergency foster home has grown into a community movement, providing emergency housing, family support, youth mentoring, and outreach programs throughout Central Louisiana. Through this new fund, Starfish Ministries can continue building a brighter future for children and families for generations to come.
