Honoring a Legacy: The Wien Denley Memorial Scholarship Empowers Bolton Academy Students

Central Louisiana Community Foundation is proud to announce the Wien Denley Memorial Scholarship Fund. Established by the family of Wien Denley, a proud 1997 Bolton High School alumnus, the fund honors his life, legacy, and deep connection to both education and the Central Louisiana community.

Wien’s journey—from Class President at Bolton to Hendrix College graduate to earning his electrician certificate at CLTCC—reflects the diverse pathways students may pursue in building meaningful futures. By assisting with educational expenses, the fund helps open doors to continued learning and empowers students to use their knowledge and skills to give back to Central Louisiana.

This scholarship provides support to graduates and graduating seniors of Bolton Academy who demonstrate financial need and plan to continue their education in the heart of Louisiana, including Louisiana State University of Alexandria (LSUA), Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC), or Louisiana Christian University (LCU).

This scholarship ensures that Wien Denley’s legacy continues by supporting the next generation of students who share his drive and commitment to our community.

Bolton seniors and graduates interested in applying can learn more and submit their applications by March 15 at www.clcf.net/scholarships.
