Central Louisiana Community Foundation Announces $60,000 in Grants to Deserving Non-Profits

Alexandria, Louisiana – The Central Louisiana Community Foundation (CLCF) is thrilled to announce the recipients of its Grants Endowment award, totaling $60,000 in grants to deserving non-profit organizations. These grants will support a variety of projects aimed at addressing critical community needs throughout Central Louisiana.

The CLCF Grants Endowment award is a testament to the Foundation’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families across our region. Through this initiative, the Foundation provides vital financial support to non-profit organizations that are making a meaningful impact in areas such as healthcare, education, homelessness, and veteran services.

“We are incredibly proud to support these outstanding organizations that are dedicated to serving our community,” said Darryl Monroe, Chair of the Central Louisiana Community Foundation. “These grants represent our ongoing commitment to fostering positive change and creating a brighter future for all residents of Central Louisiana.”

The recipients of the Grants Endowment award are as follows:
Sickle Cell Anemia Resource Foundation for their “SCARF Cares” project, receiving $10,100
Sexual Trauma Awareness and Response for their Survivor Assistance Fund, receiving $10,000
Main Street Baptist Mission for their Mercy Ministry for the Homeless and Hungry, receiving $5,000
Catholic Charities of Central Louisiana for their “Assist. Educate. Elevate.” project, receiving $5,000
Children’s Advocacy Network for the expansion of trauma therapy services for children, receiving $5,000
Wounded Warrior Umpire Academy for CENLA Veteran Camp Tuition to their 10th anniversary camp, receiving $5,000 to support CENLA Veteran camp tuition
Volunteers of America South Central Louisiana for their Rapid Rehousing Program (RRH), receiving $5,000
Almost Home Behavioral Health Ministries for their Dental Care 2024 project, receiving $5,000
Lakeview High School – Gator Ladies are Making Moves for their GLAMM Female Education Classes, receiving $5,000
Junior League of Alexandria for their JLA New Member’s Sensory Horizons: Bridging Gaps, Building Futures project, receiving $4,530
