Alexandria, LA \u2013<\/strong> The Central Louisiana Community Foundation (CLCF) is excited to announce the Junior League of Alexandria Diaper Bank as the recipient of its 2025 Grants Endowment award. This $75,000 grant will enable the Diaper Bank to expand its reach and provide essential support to families in need across Central Louisiana.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The CLCF Grants Endowment Program is a competitive grant opportunity designed to fund impactful projects that benefit the 12-parish region served by the Foundation. Each year, eligible organizations are invited to apply, with the goal of addressing critical community needs and fostering long-term change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Junior League of Alexandria Diaper Bank is dedicated to bridging the gap for families who struggle to afford diapers. With this grant, the Diaper Bank will partner with local distribution organizations and host community diaper drives to ensure a steady supply of diapers reaches families in need. These efforts aim to improve the well-being of children and reduce financial stress on parents.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the National Diaper Bank Network, 1 in 2 U.S. families with young children struggles to afford clean diapers. While government investments in nutrition programs offer some assistance, no such investments currently exist to provide diapers and other basic necessities essential for healthy child development.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEnsuring that families have access to clean diapers is a fundamental step toward building a stronger community,\u201d said Emily McGruder, President and CEO of CLCF. \u201cThis initiative reflects our commitment to addressing immediate needs while fostering long-term change.
