The CLCF is designed to promote innovative ideas for philanthropic projects that offer a strong likelihood for broad community impact while providing benefits that are sustainable well beyond the funding period. The selection committee seeks fresh ideas that deal with a recognized community issue.
The Community Impact Challenge is a two-week fundraising challenge held during late March/early April. It is designed to raise unrestricted dollars and awareness for the nonprofits in the central Louisiana community.
Every April, CLCF partners with the Rotary Club of Alexandria to present Celebration of Philanthropy. The goal of Celebration of Philanthropy is to highlight the generosity of the people of Central Louisiana and create opportunities for an even greater impact on local nonprofits through wise and effective giving.
The Opportunity Grant program is a new competitive grant cycle that CLCF launched in April 2018. The Opportunity Grants Program will provide small grants to eligible organizations throughout the communities served by the Central Louisiana Community Foundation. Grants through this program range from $250 to $2,000.
